2023 Endorsements

ENDORSEMENT ALERT!!! Pride in GC understands that a lot is on the line when it comes to protecting LGBTQ+ rights in our community. This August, our Board took the step for the first time to send questionnaires to every candidate of every party who submitted petitions for public office in our coverage area. We wanted to see which candidates stood up for issues like nondiscrimination ordinances, establishing Pride Months, adopting inclusive policies and more. Not every candidate responded. These four candidates not only responded, but provided strong statements in favor of the LGBTQ+ community's priorities in our community. The Board of Directors discussed and moved to endorse the following candidates in our area, and urges our community to support them in the November 2023 elections:

Anthony Caldwell and Lee Schreiner, SWCSD Students First for Board of Education

Aaron Miller for City Council - Ward 5 in Grove City

Donald Goldhardt for Pleasant Township Fiscal Officer
